New hotels in Cancún and the Riviera Maya (2026–2027): getting there from the airport

These are some of the big hotels that opened or are opening in 2026 and 2027 in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, with the price of a private transfer from Cancún Airport. Dates are the ones announced by each hotel or by the travel press; they may change.

The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort

Opened in June 2026 in Costa Mujeres, north of Cancún city. Private transfer from the airport: $1,000 MXN one way per van (Costa Mujeres rate), about 50 minutes.

Casa Nizuc, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

Opens on December 8, 2026 in the Cancún Hotel Zone, at km 23.5 of Kukulcán Boulevard (Aldea Nizuc), with 235 rooms. Private transfer from the airport: $800 MXN one way per van (Cancún Hotel Zone rate), 20 to 40 minutes.

Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort

Opens in December 2026 in Puerto Cancún, with 500 rooms (47 suites), all-inclusive. Private transfer from the airport: $800 MXN one way per van (Cancún Hotel Zone rate); Hyatt says it's about 25 minutes from the airport.

Park Hyatt Riviera Maya

Opens on January 8, 2027 inside AMAI, between Cancún and Puerto Morelos, with 148 rooms and suites, all-inclusive. Private transfer from the airport: $900 MXN one way per van (Puerto Morelos rate), about 35 minutes.
